new dress

In between all the -bag making- I have an urge to make myself something fun. Since I’m going to watch my husband play with the LA Philharmonic at The Disney Hall next week, I need to have a new cute dress to wear.

I found this heather gray stretch wool, which will be perfect for my design. It will be a basic sheath dress with a front topstitch seam, sweetheart neckline and a big flounce at the bottom. I will line it with a leopard print fabric…. for a fun pop!!

You do know it’s all about animal print this spring! lol.  I’ve made the sketch and tomorrow I will cut the fabric and post pics of each step until finished.
